Snapshots from Life North Tier Digital Camera Grant

Through a $3000 North Tier Faculty Development Grant, the Transitional ESOL High School (TEHS) Program was able to purchase digital cameras and materials for all four of its sites, serving approximately 600 students. Faculty development, training, model lessons, and "what works" sessions were provided for all TEHS teachers. Over 20 teachers incorporated digital photography into their lessons, using the technology in classes serving more than 200 students.

Responsibilities:

  • on-site technology support
  • design and delivery of model lessons
  • collection and analysis of effectiveness data
  • coordination of 'what works' sessions
  • final report
